Adobe Zii Patcher Damaged
Apple has tightened up the Gatekeeper security in its latest operating system and one very visible change is that the option to allow apps from unidentified developers is no longer there.
How to fix damaged app message on macOS Sierra or later
To resolve Gatekeeper issues on macOS Sierra and unlock images and programs ( annoying image/application is damaged messages pretending you cannot open things ).
For that reason you might have to completely disable Gatekeeper checks, and to do that open your terminal and type:
sudo spctl –master-disable
**Enter your password and you’re done. Note that there are two (2) dashes before master. You might miss that while copy/pasting. So I will leave a screenshot below. I would suggest you type the command manually.
To verify that your operation was successful you need to Open Settings and verify that the Anywhere option is now visible as shown below.
Revert the Gatekeeper Settings
To enable Gatekeeper again, enter the following command (notice two dashes before ‘master’).
sudo spctl –master-enable

Use GateKeeper Helper setting
We recommend to use our Helper to do that for you, the helper offer the following options:
- Disable Your GateKeeper.
- Enable Your GateKeeper.
- Allow Single App To ByPass The GateKeeper.

On macOS Catalina 10.15.2 still get the message after removing Gatekeeper checks after removal/new install and restart.
[“AdobeZii20205.1.1” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.]

Terminal denied to save these settings in catalina 10.15.2.I am unable to enter password in terminal after this.

Hey there. Im trying to download the patcher for Photoshop 2019 but the zip file doesn’t open. It asks for registered name and registration code ( I have win zip). I dont know what to do or how its works. Can anyone help please and tell me what to do step by step? I have a MacBook
You need unrar application to open zip file

It’s Gatekeeper issues disable your Gatekeeper
the patch wont work. everytime i click the “patch or drag” button, it will load a little bit and then it will say “complete”… im using macos mojave with adobe photoshop cc 2018

I have macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and use your Gatekeeper Helper option1 and option3, but continue the message “Adobe Zii 2020 5..2.4 is damaged and can´t be opened. You should eject the disk image”. I hope you can help me. Dario

Open “GateKeeper Helper”. Choose 3 and drag the dmg(!) file in Command window.

Try below solution ….
Rename Adobe Zii.app to —–> AdobeZii.app Without spaces
Open Terminal, Paste this:
sudo chmod -R 777 (Your directory)
example: /Users/username/Desktop/AdobeZii.app
Right Click and Run, Done!

I have the same problem with my Big Sur OS. already disabled gatekeeper but still the AdobeZii 2021 6.0.8 still cant be opened because its damaged
If you can’t open Adobe Zii App, you can try this:
Create a folder on the desktop named AdobeZii
Right click on the original AdobeZii application, and show content
Copy the folder “Contents” and paste it in the folder you created on the desktop (AdobeZii)
Change the name of the folder AdobeZii to AdobeZii.app
Run it normally ????
Example:
Create a folder on the desktop named Adobe Zii 6.0.9
Right click on the original AdobeZii application, and show content
Copy the folder “Contents” and paste it in the folder you created on the desktop (AdobeZii 6.0.9)
Change the name of the folder AdobeZii 6.0.9 to AdobeZii 6.0.9.app
Run it normally ????
